HOW TO WASH ACRYLIC SCARF?
Acrylic Scarves protect the skin and also add eye-catching colour to any outfit when draped around the shoulder or tied around the neck. Acrylic scarves need to wash occasionally to keep dirt and grime from building up. Machine wash can damage the sensitive fibres so it’s better to wash acrylic scarf by hand with the following steps:
Fill a sink halfway with lukewarm water. Never use hot or ice-cold water to clean an acrylic scarf. Add a few drops of gentle liquid detergent to the water. Stir the soap and water together with your hand. Submerge the acrylic scarf in the soapy water. Allow the water to penetrate the scarf. Swish the scarf around gently with the hands. Do not twist the scarf while washing it because doing so may rip the fabric. Drain the soapy water, then turn on the faucet and rinse the scarf with lukewarm water. Continue rinsing until the water runs clear. Lay a towel flat on a table or other hard surface. Place the scarf flat on the towel. Wrap the towel loosely around the scarf and apply gentle pressure to soak up the water. Do not wring or squeeze the scarf to get the water out. Lay the scarf out on another dry towel and allow it to air-dry completely.
